I resolve...

Well, it's that night. And to paraphrase Queen Elizabeth's sentiments on the year Windsor Castle burned, 2009 is not a year I will look back upon with fondness. To put it bluntly, it rather stunk up the place. But all the crap I've been dealing with for the last year is soon to be done with. There are good things ahead for me and my family, and I plan on making the most of them by resolving:

To never again settle for less than I deserve.

To try to provide the best possible future for my kids.

To write more and angst less.

To not give a shit about what someone thinks of me unless they've shown me why I should care.

To play more.

To procrastinate less.

To reach for the things I want.

For all of you, if you had a great 2009, I hope 2010 is even better. And if your 2009 smelled like something a trucker left in the gas station bathroom after an all you can eat taco buffet like mine did, well, things can only get better right?

Right? Hellllloo.... Anyone? I'm right, aren't I? *ahem*

Oh, yeah, you are right. I think it's gonna be a great year for you! ; )

I have no resolutions. I never keep them anyway. I'm just happy if I get through the year alive. snort.

Here's to a great 2010 and the beginning of a new era! *cheers*

Kirsten, I'm sorry but you will not procrastinate less, it's a zodiacal impossibility. The Dog-born are incurable procrastinastors; despite his exceptional loyalty, the dog was the second to last animal to attend the dying Buddha.

Sorry I didn't post this sooner. Dog thing. : )

Well, shit, Mia. According to Leah's astrological figuring, I'm a beacon for needy men. According to my Keirsey personality profile, I walk around daydreaming all day and have never met a charity case I couldn't love. And now this.

I'm doomed. DOOMED!

Well phooey, Kirsten! : )

You're not doomed yet. The Metal Tiger influence strikes on St. Valentine's Day, and the Tiger loves Dogs.

I've had a great deal of personal dificulty myself this year. I'm looking forward to better day.

You're born in the year of the Iron Dog, like me. No wonder we're so stubborn at times, LOL : )

Soon you'll be in your natural element. Take heart!

Heh, I'm a dog too. Don't we dogs run in procrastinating packs? LOL

See Kirsten, even if you are doomed you have the loyal pack to stand by your side going down with with you, barking. :)
