I did a bad, bad thing...

What bad thing did I do, you ask? Well, with Chancellor's Bride hovering near the midpoint and an October deadline looming, I went and started a new project last night.

2000 words in. Planning for 40k. WTF am I thinking??!!

That is all.

I don't know what you were thinking but you can keep thinking it, cause I'm sure it's gonna be a doozy. :D

I think when you're in a creative frenzy, you have to go with what's turning you on. I'm sure you'll get back to Chansellor's Bride in enough time to get it all done.

For us readers though,it's all good. Whatever you can write to feed us hungry people will be gobbled up.

my word verification: fixem I'm on a roll on your blog with the word veri's.

LOL, MB! I'm not quite in a frenzy yet, but I was pleased to bang out those 2000 words, let me tell you. Even if it isn't the project I'm supposed to be working on.

Oh, but I am bad, laughingwolf. Very bad and very silly, and shameless enough that I don't feel remotely guilty, either.

Hey, Ais! I missed ya! Oh, I think you definitely want to read it in bed. Or in the bathtub. *ahem*

oooooo hubby know that? :O lol

Yeah, I ended up reading it on the couch last night while all the kidlets were in bed and the grown ups off at a concert. Definitely a good thing I didn't wait until the drive home.

Also, if the new project just so happens to be around a certain apothecary and his lovely assistant, I take back everything I said. You ARE going to write a book about them, right??

Hehe, laughingwolf, the hubby knows all.

Glad you found a good time to read it, Ais. And the new project is a f/f prequel to Crossing Swords. I was thinking of doing a free short for my website featuring that apothecary and his assistant, tho...

Naughty, naughty girl.

No more elves for you!

Hey! That's not fair! I like elves.

laughingwolf said...

hmm elves DO get a different perspective of the human world, being eye/nose level to most human privates! :O lol

Hehe, laughingwolf, this particular elf is rather silver-tongued. And she's a very eloquent speaker, too.

*whistling innocently*

LOL Actually, as the world develops... literally silver tongued.
